Adjusting Current Display Mode for G200 Marvel under XP, but not in PowerDesk - how?

Since Matrox won't be supporting the G200 Marvel under XP I'm forced to run W2K drivers to activate TV-out. However, the drivers are very unstable, or rather PowerDesk is, because it crashes every time I try to edit the current display mode (to remove the blach borders and/or the overscan) when TV-out is activated. Only about once in a hundred tries do I get far enough that it saves the new settings on disk, so I'm wondering if there are other ways to alter these settings?

Also, has anyone tried the inf-file-hack with a G200 Marvel? Can the VideoTools be installed for this card under XP at all?
