The new VT (video tools) will come with a user friendly GUI so that clients who do have this problem, can enter in the proper frequencies in here to fine tune their reception. This will elimidate the need to mess with the registry but clients will still have to get the frequencies from their cable provider.
Tech supp is not in any position to give out any kind of release date for our drivers but I can tell you that they are in the last stages of beta.
