Help need to install Mjpeg codec

Hello,

I need to be able to edit my Mjpg files that i captured with my G400 tv on my laptop. However, my laptop can't decode the video because there's no codec installed on it to do this. So i was wondering if there is a way to get the Matrox Mjpeg codec installed onto my laptop so i can edit my video or at least view it. Any help would be appreciated.

It would of helped if you'd said what OS you had on the laptop, but I'll assume Win98, so take a look at this guide.

You can't install the Matrox codec, but you can easily edit Matrox mjpeg files (dmb1) using a software codec such as PicVideo etc.
