Wait i'm not sure I fully understand..

Are you saying that with the Macrovision Crack (Sun's crack?) That you hook up your VCR to your card and then from the card you hook up your TV-OUT to another VCR and record from that VCR? And that totally gets rid of level 1 and 2 macrovision? A little hard to believe :P This tape I have seems to have Level 1 and 2 macrovision.. cause it gets those green/purple stripes at the top sometimes.

I'm not sure 'bout the different levels of MV, but I've tried some Disney and others (Disney always seems worst fixing with hardware) and it works just fine. My assumption is (was) that the video in was digitised and then sent to the output (analogised) with new fresh sync signals, thus effectively removing any traces of MV. I could be wrong, but all the tapes I've copied works just fine. By the way I'm in a PAL country (Sweden) if that has anything to do with it. Could it be that some of the MV levels also screw up the picture even with the "patch"?

        I can confirm on that!

If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

Jeremy Clarkson "806 brake horsepower..and that on that limp wrist faerie liquid the Americans call petrol, if you run it on the more explosive jungle juice we have in Europe you'd be getting 850 brake horsepower..."
