Just how does one go about setting up Premiere 6.01 to preview in real time, without rendering? Does it require the use of a real-time capable card, or just enough CPU power? For the record, I have pyro-1394 card.
I've gotten so used to marking off a work area on the timeline and pressing return to render a preview in Pr4.2 and Pr5.1, that I just plain missed the boat in 6.01 - I mostly upgraded for the DV device control.
I'm sure it's in the manual, but that's at home while I'm here at work. 8) I'd rather hope to get an answer so that I can put my mind at ease.
