Thank you for the older patch.
The 204 for W2K seems to work for XP. It accepted the patch anyway. Didn't test it with a Macrovision capture, yet.
Nice job, Sergio, thanks.

adis,
Usually I capture PIC Video-MJPEG.
I’ve had trouble with the Matrox HW-MJPEG in W2K and in WinXP. The HW-MJPEG is very unstable, causing crashes and lockups.
In W2K the best VT for me was the 2.04-leaked. It doesn't work in XP.
No crashes with PICVideo and the TV display from MSP7 timeline are fine with my actual VT 2.04
The Macrovision thing could be a reason to change, and I will.
There is nothing to lose with a Ghost backup in the background.
Thanks.

I am using VT 2.04.15 (not a,b,c etc) with the VTSRV.reg patch.
I'm using all this on PD 5.82.018 and DirectX9.0. But I found it strange that the Info about the installed graphics shows "Matrox PD 6.82.016" but I am sure I installed 5.82.018. I am confused
Never had any crash with them and different codecs including MPEG2 captures, except Marox HW MJPEG (via AVI_IO). The HW-MJPEG is unstable.
Even playing back old HW-MJPEG files can crash the system. Never does it the PICVideo.
I will try the 2.04.015c, but just haven't time, yet.
BTW. should I uninstall the existing VT before installing the newer? Sure, it's safer to do so.

Yes, it's safer to uninstall 2.04.015 first.
Win2K/XPv5.82.018 is similar to Win98/MEv6.82.016.
That's why it says "Matrox PD 6.82.016".
When you install VT 2.04.015c let me know how it works.
You can use my e-mail address which you can find on my page.
