sort of strange request

what would i need to do to convert an ntsc signal to play on a monitor?

this would be more or less to show text on the screens, and the input would be from dvd.

i'd like to find a way to do it without having to drag a few computers into the gallery.

sadly, to be of any use i would need it to be on monitors not tvs.

Hi,

Do you have access to a laptop with a DVD player? The Dells I have used are excellent for doing that (ATI video card - excellent DVD playback on a monitor).

sadly no, and i'd need a few of em anyways...

it doesn't have to be dvd source, but it's the only format i could think of that's mainstream and could handle the text resolution so it wouldn't just be blurry lines
