Outputting to Tape - Tips please.

Well, outputting my demo reel to tape time. I gotta G450 etv, some specs are in my sig. below. Anything would be helpful, honestly... thanks in advance:

some questions to make it easier:


field rendering required? (NTSC)
size - it's currently 640x480. That good?
compression method? (you're humble opinions welcome)
...sigh, should I just put it on a CD, but no one uses VCD's here in north america...
