Is it a Hardware problem ???

Since the only airway in this Toshiba model (1625TCD) is at the right rear side of the machine, I'm afraid that any bottom fan will be useless. however I'm thinking about having a case fan (60/80 mm) and build a little box which will be attached to my machine in times when it is needed.

what do you think? did anyone have ever try such a thing?

I don't know if this is of any use, but I've seen coolers for laptops that fit in the PCMCIA slot. I don't know if they are any good or if you can still use the PCMCIA slot for a PCMCIA card, but it may b worth looking in to.

hi all

just wanted you to know that the problem has been solved, it was the CPU overheating and I bought and add an additional fan which I connected at the side of my laptop.

I already made a number of long MPEG rendring and everything is alright.

thank you all for the great help. I am willing to explain in details how did I solve it if anyone is interested.

Good to hear your problems are solved. I was just about to advise you to put your laptop in the fridge while rendering.
