  • APEX announces WMA compatability

    APEX DVD decks strike again.....

".....the AD-1600, AD-2100, and AD-2500 feature Microsoft Windows Media software (WMA). The Microsoft Windows Media is a compression system that allows 16 to 20 hours of music to be stored on one disc with excellent quality music reproduction."

    Wow....that was quick.

16 to 20 hours of music per CD-R? Jezzz...

Can MPEG-4 or WMV be far behind?

That's a lot of music on a CD-R. The proverbial all-day-sucker enters the CD-burning world. Maybe CD-changing vehicular mishaps will be reduced greatly.

Yeah, I'm sure the guys who make CD changers are just thrilled with this news

Now...if only portable and car stereos would pick this up. But then many of these already have MP3 playback.
