  • G400 TV and Win XP

    Hi guys
I`m thinking of upgrading to Win XP but Matrox are not planninig any drivers for my G400 TV.
Has anyone managed to do this step??
Does anyone know how to transfer codecs from one computer to an other??
    Thanks

The "advavantages" of upgrading to WinXP are far outnumbered by the problems that you will encounter. If you can get it to work, it will not be at 100%. If you are not worried about the capture capabilities of the card, then you may be satisfied with the results. IF you are in need of a good OS to edit and capture with your Marvel, then this is not the OS for it. There are a very few that have gotten it to work somewaht and they are not 100% happy as far as I can tell. WinXP is a resource hog as each new M$oft OS is upon release. It may not "crash", but I would rather endure a few reboots than not have my HW work at all.

Try a search on the forum and I am sure that you will find a good number of posts about this as well as the instructions to try to install it.

If you do decide to go with WinXP, I wish you luck, you will need it.
