MSP6.5 Bundled - deal or not?

Videoguys has the Mediastudio pro 6.5 c/w Pyro pro dv card for $249.00 u.s. supposed to be full version? Sounds like a great deal? Meanwhile on same page just the software is selling for $479.00 u.s.? Whats the diff. The bundled version does not say S.E. Does anyone know the scoop on this?

That is for registered members of MUG, the MediaStudio Users Group. This is a mail list and web list that provides support for the MSPro community started by Charlie Hills, a long-time user and writer of highly regarded MSPro tutorials.

Videoguys supports MUG and provides discounts regularly. From the looks of this ad it's a doozie of a deal on the full 6.5, but it wouldn't hurt to give 'em a call before ordering. Gary and his staff are pretty straight up about things.

Lots of experienced MSPro users call the MUG lists home, but be prepared: joining all 3 lists can generate from 30-100 messages a day.

You could cut this by omitting offtopic, but then you would miss on the fun fun, arguing and outright cat-fights

That said there is lots to learn and this list has the most experienced MSPro users on it.

OK I see the connection now but wow thats one heck of a deal. I am going to give them (Videoguys) a call and get the complete scoop. It still seems in the back of my mind you get the same software, a DV card and a firewire cable!! for half the cost of just the software only?? I guess not to many other video software outlets sell to many copies of MSP 6.5.
