TV out picture settings won't stick
System: WinXP, Marvel G200, w2k drivers that list as 2001-06-21 in the display driver window opened from the device manager. I *think* it's the 5.39 drivers but I can't verify that - in the "driver details" window every file has a different version number (som even have none).
Anyway, the problem is that when using TV-out, the picture has botha a high contrast and high brightness setting. When I go into Display Properties/Advanced/TV Output/Advanced TV Settings, the actual settings change to what they should be (as in, what they are set to in that window). But as soon as I exit the window (OK or Cancel) they revert to the too-bright settings. Entering the Advanved TV Settings window again, I see that the changes I made are saved, they are just not used when that window is not open.
All this seems to have started recently when I tried to get TV-in to work under XP (a futile endevour), but AFAIK I use the same drivers as I did before... ideas?
