  • tmpgenc and bad audio in the Holy Grail

I have a encoded a capture of an old movie...but
(The Holy Grail, by mOnty Python)
I used a few, effects/filter thingys in tmpg to remove noise and enhance the video

The video came out very nicely , but the audio bombs out after 30 seconds.

is their anyway to redo the audio and put into the mpeg file..

I could redo the whole lot...but it took 3 days to encode it!!!!
    it was a
    mjpeg(pal 720x576) to mpeg2(svcd)(480x576? pal)
    conversion.

or maybe break up the mjpeg and redo it in sections and then rejoin the mpeg files just before I burn a CD.

Use TMPGEnc MPEG tools (under the file menu) to demux your already encoded file. Save the video as an m2v file or whatever. Then use TMPGEnc, load the avi file, select create audio file and encode. Then use MPEG Tools again to multiplex your new audio file and the video (m2v file). Should work like a champ and be about 20 times faster (no scientific estimation, just a WAG)
