Croping in VirtualDub

I've looked through the old posts, and so far have been unable to come up with an answer. In the help files, virtual dub mentions croping out the black areas on letterboxed captures. The only problem is, I can't figure out how to do this. Im in the process of archiving my LD collection to cd, and would like to crop the images. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Never mind, I found it. Although, anyone who has done this before, your suggestions would be welcome.
