    Nice screen shot, however:

      Jerry,

      One thing I saw there but I don't seem to remember seeing it in MSPRO 6.0"

      "More worthy features include knockout alpha channel effects, which let you overlay one video atop the original. Simply set the transparency for the overlay, and you'll get a sophisticated, dreamy effect with little effort.

      Is it in MSPRO 6.5??

        Yes, it's in MediaStudio Pro 6.5.

        Alpha channel support has been basic to MediaStudio for several versions now.

          I recall testing Video Studio 5.0, it was so simple I didn't know how to use it lol

          Media Studio and Premiere still are my top choices for the money.

            I see VideoStudio as being targeted at two markets;

            1. the beginner/intermediate user because of its simple, easy to use interface but still powerful features.

            2. advanced users who are working on a small, quick project that does not require some of MSPro or Premiere's advanced features and like VS's simple interface for such projects.

            You'd be suprised how many "advanced" users fall into category #2.

                Yes I agree Doc, for me though VS 5.0 was a waste of time, maybe VS 6.0 has improved alot in the interface and made tools available with a click of a button.
                Give me a timeline and a bunch of tools on the side like MS Pro and Premiere and I'll use them even to create a VCD

                  This is a first, I agree with Elie!

                  Found VS4 and 5 totally useless. Perhaps 6 is better, but why waste time finding out. I can do everything I need efficiently in MSP6.5.
