I had a green lines problem with Marvel G400-TV. I contacted Matrox service, only action was an automatic answer that they have got my message and will soon give an answer. The answer was never given!
After some weeks I found some information from this forum about the green lines problem. There was also some piece of information how to get contact with a right person of Matrox.
I contacted and I got an answer very within a couple of days. I was directed to Ireland and there were pointed a person who began to take care of my problem. The RMA was sent to me and I send the faulty board back to Ireland/Matrox on the 17th of April. Nothing was heart after that. Two weeks later I asked if they had got my board with RMA. It was OK, but they had not got any board to send me back. They were waiting for the boards from Canada. Estimated after couple of weeks.
In the end of May I sent an e-mail again asking the situation. My mail was forwarded to Canada and finaly on the 8th of June I got the replacement board back home.
Nearly 2 months time this process lasted!
I´m not very sure if Matrox had not any board to sold to get new customers during May. The old customer with problems was not that interesting perhaps.
Perhaps Matrox policy is have max sell out and no service with the problem cases.
In the RT 2000 forum I have noticed the same problem. This didn't convinced me to buy a new Matrox RT 2000 product with poor service, if any problems will occure.
Anyhow I have a Diamond Viper and a Matrox Marvel G-400TV with no green lines!
