Pioneer A04 DVD Writer

I am considering buying one of these drives.

Does anyone here have one and can report on how good/bad it is ?

I don't own one, but have set one up before. Its basically the same as the A03, but with faster CD burning speeds. It also tends to give trouble unless you disable DMA on the channel to which it's connected, as did the original.
