hey all,
I suggested to my partner that we use my personal Radio Shack Universal Laptop Car Adaptor on our office laptop so we can charge it in the car while goin to the client meeting... the outcome... a disaster... the battery did not charge during that trip... and now the laptop will not charge the batery at all... it works plugged to AC poer cord, you can charge the battery on an identical laptop, so it seems the bit that charges the battery in the laptop is bust or somthing else... GATEWAY is no longer retailing Int'l markets so we are stuffed on suport, any ideas if we could fix this ourselves !?
