G400 - WinDVD - Macrovision?
HI, I'm using a G400 and WinDVD 3.0 with W2K. If I insert a DVD WinDVD starts, changes to a black screen in 'cinema'-format, skips titels (seen in the bottom line) but doesn't do anything else. If I select a playlist, the titles are played, but the picture stays black, sound plays well. I understood from other threads that this might be due to macrovision protection. But it is just a G400 - no video out card. Yes, I installed DVDGenie, but I didn't set any parameter, just wanted to know what is does.
My drivers are: 5.32.010 (package), DirectX8.1.
Is this due to macrovision? What can I do to play DVDs (again).
