Could it be true! G1000 announcement on May 14th . . will there be a Marvel version?

This card could be great if it exists.

I've heard rumors of 4 pipelines and 4 texturing units per pipeline.

DX9 support AND a 512 but graphics core.

Please let it be true and let a Marvel version be released. Then, finally, a video card with good 3D, 2D visual quality, AND DVD Max!

It's already been stated more than once that Matrox will not be making and more low-end capture cards (Marvels). The video division will continue with the RT series, but the graphics division is out of the capture card buiz.

And there is no such thing as G1000. The "G" series naming scheme is history. Whatever they call it, it won't be Gxxxx...

I only said G1000 to indicate a new video card. I'm not really concerned about the name.

I guess I shouldn't have said Marvel. What I'm really interested in is TV out with the DVD max feature.

Well, given the success of their DualHead/DVDMax features, I would only expect improvements on those items
