  • RT2500 and VirtualDub

Anyone else running into this problem when editing I-frame files with Virtual dub over 4 gigs on a NTFS partition:

    szAppName : VirtualDub.exe szAppVer : 1.4.10.0
    szModName : swcmpegvfw.dll szModVer : 0.0.0.58 offset : 000059c

This happens whenever I seek in the file. And what makes matters worse, when I use Infinite Capture, it won't append the segments!? Any help would be appreciated.

Might have found a possible fix:

Using AVISynth, I'm able to frameserve from premiere to VirtualDub. I'm going to test it out, but here is the steps I've done.

    1. Install AVISynth frameserver (CM-Avisynth.prm in plugins folder)
    2. Copy avisynth.dll to /Windows/System and install registry file.
    3. Open Premiere and Export edited timeline, choose Link to avisynth.
    4. Create a TXT file named (filename).txt.
    5. Add IPCSource("(filename)") to the TXT document.
    6. Rename TXT file to AVS
    7. Open AVS file in VirtualDub and use filters as needed.

    Hope this helps some people!
