DVD idle crashes computer

AMD k6-2 500mHz
128m ram
10 gig drive
win98se

After clicking OK on the DVD idle settings dialog:
DVDIdle caused an IPF in module unknown at 0000:760e1470

Closing this dialog results in this white box error:

PDESK caused an IPF in module unknown @ 00de:9188115c.

and then a series of OS errors and then a I have to reboot.


Any suggestions?
