  • Yes!!! (G400 in XP)

The newest G400 drivers with Video Tools worked for me (MURC start page). I am now able to capture video without Quickcam for the first time in a year. Even Windows Movie Maker works. I still don't have record and snapshot in PC-VCR though. Is there a way to get this working in XP?

    Which drivers (2000/XP v.5.82 ?) an videotools (vt 2.04 ?) you used?

And how (if at all) did you modify them? The INI trick?

I personally live in a PAL world, the "final official" drivers and Video Tools install and work fine in XP but any later drivers will leave the PC-VCR overlay stuck in the top-left corner

I've only seen the problem of having the overlay stuck up in the top left of the screen after a hiberation or suspend. Matrox doesnt support hibernation, so its no supprise it doesn't work properly.

        Using VT2.10a driver 5.82

I'm using the same driver and video tools version as DrP in Windows XP. I have noticed something though. Movie Maker WILL show the video in its preview window until I try to record. Then it blue screens on me when I try to record.
