  • weird audio with Marvel G400-TV

    I have a marvel g400-tv with the w2k drivers.
    I have two problems.
If I turn on PCVCR to use the tv tuner and shut it off, the audio doesnt turn off, it just switches to the composite audio. I can fix this by muting the audio. If I try to play a mpg or divx video, the audio will shut off.

The other problem is that when I play video, audio is not outputted, unless I use PC-VCR to play it.
when I play mpg or divx files with any other program, the video is outputted, but no audio.
MJPEG files will work fine with any player, the video AND audio will be outputted.
the only way I could fix this is to open a MJPEG in media player, then open my divx or mpeg file from inside media player. If I do this, then the audio works. double click on the file wont work.

There is no reason to pass the audio from the soundcard through the Break out box and then further. Simply bypass the BOB, with a cable adapter from the stereo plug to a pari of RCA plugs, and the audio out will work just fine.

the problem with doing that is the problems with separating the audio.
if I play a video, and windows decides to beep or something, it would also get outputted.
      the BOB separates that.

Then you shouldn't have anything else running that would beep As a matter of fact, you should have as few things as possible running anyways. Bypassing the BOB is a much better solution-- try to make it work.
