Can a Marvel G400 capture at 720x480 ???

I am looking for a new capture card and I would like to have the option to capture at 720x480 (in YUV2, RGB, or MJPEG) so I can then encode this to DVD (MPG2) as fast as possible (=without having to do any resizing)

I know the maximum supported resolution of the Marvel is 704x480, but is there ANY hack or trick that would allow the Marvel to capture at 720x480?

I just tried hacking around, and 704x480 does seem to be the maximum for the the Marvel/RRG. When I try to trick VirtualDub to capture 720x480 the video comes out completely corrupted. On the plus side, it turns out with the YUY2 hack I can capture to HuffYUV in 480x480 directly (yes, 480x480 directly off of my Marvel G200!)
