Cropping is in the render options on the tab behind Compression.
Cropping is also available as a video filter. Just select the clip and bring up the context menu (right click). It's in the Video Filters under "C".
That said I really like the ViZFx effects plugins. They run about $80 USD and work very nicely. They also sell addon packs for $10-20 a pop. Check here;
Thanks for your reply - but I must be blind or there is something else wrong with my grey matter - under "video filters" under "C" I have nothing listed - my list of filters start with "add noise" and end 22 entries later with "wind".
Also, on my "project setting" when I open "compression" I do not have a "render" tab? HUH ????????????? - ok (change of story after some more investigation), this I now found under the "create file" under "file"
Are we both talking MSP6.0?

The term "render options" is shorthand for file/create/video file/options. Sorry.
Yes, the cropping control you see there in the "render options" is one of those I was talking about.
As for no Cropping video filter being in your list, that is very weird. It's not only in my context menu list but appears in the Production Library Video Filters list as well.
Also interesting is that you only show 22 filters. I list 57 non-VizFx filters, and all of these appear in the Vfilter.hlp files listing. This help file is located in the c:\program files\Ulead Systems\Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.0\vft_plug\ folder.
Are you using the MSPro6.0 trial or a VE version? That would explain the absense of so many filters.

Of course if they had bundeled all the plugins and filters into that download it would have been twice as big. My MSPro6 folder is over 83 megs counting VizFx, and VizFx isn't THAT big....
