When video captured by Matrox Marvel G400-TV in MJPEG is played in Windows, the driver automatically crops the image to 588x554 pixels. In some videos it is annoying, because I need to see the whole image. Is there some registry setting, which can set the image size manually (I need a bit bigger picture - I know that setting to smaller picture is allowed in PC-VCR)?

Those numbers sound like you're playing it in PC-VCR (which I guess is the case, since you didn't say what you were working with), so I'd suggest trying Media Player. Just double-click on the video; it should show most of the image, minus a few areas usually dubbed "overscan" and not visible on TV.
If it's really important you need to see everything, simply open two videos at once. The second video will not have access to the hardware and will play through the software instead, showing the full image.
