This is misleading advertising. The O/S is Linux, which is free of charge. Lindows is a commercial version of Wine (which is free!) and is a lot cheaper than Windows. Unfortunately, it's fine for run-of-the-mill Windows apps but it's hopeless for anything a wee bittie sophisticated, like MSP or Premiere. I must admit, a computer for $299 is quite something, though. I've little doubt that the 1,000 softwares offered are all free Linux apps. The real problem is when you have a Windows app that doesn't work under Lindows: where do you go for support/service?Brian (the devil incarnate)

You also need to supply a graphic card - looking at the spec it says it supports 2x /4x AGP - but doesn't mention a card anywhere - still they are inexpensive.Phil
