We have a special client who captures short video that needs to be (is required to be) 800x600. The video will never be turned into TV format, never into DVD format, will only be PC format, and will be broken apart for presentable "stills" that can be used to show clients views of houses, etc.
They are currently using a proprietary ISA card, because, quite frankly, they need the realtime capture (they capture in realtime, view, and then upload to satelite from mobile vans) but, they'd like to ditch the proprietary ISA (obviously)
I've looked at all the Matrox RT series, and all of them seem to stop at 720, etc. which is unacceptable to their clients (will not go)
What kind of solutions are there out there that will capture in the higher resolution formats for this purpose? Anyone know of any?
