Empty audio track captured when using HuffYUV

I'm using AVI_IO to capture and HuffYUV to compress on the fly. The captured video has an audio track, but it's empty. This only happens with HuffYUV captures. Uncompressed RGB and MJPEG work fine. My hardware is an RRG and a G400 DualHead. Any ideas?

Have you checked to see what the audio capture settings are? They still have to be Matrox compatable: 22.05 khz stereo @16 bit, 44.1 hhz stereo @ 16 bit etc.

I'm capturing audio @ 44.1 kHz, 16 bit stereo. I discovered yesterday that it also captures an empty audio track if I use uncompressed YUY2 (are those the right letters?), so it's definitely not the compression getting in the way. This worked fine before I reinstalled Windows.

I just read in another thread that YUY2 support is broken in 1.54 of the vidtools, which is the version I am using, so I guess it's time to play the backing out drivers game.
