I did some more experimenting.
it seems my 352x240 movies are decent at 1000, anything below and it gets choppy
SOME of my 704x480 movies will be ok at 1500, but just barely.
I just dont see the advantage of the low motion codec.
I understand the difference. (I think)
the fast motion codec will keep the datarate low for low motion parts and higher for high motion parts.
low motion will keep the datarate approx what I set it at and change a tiny bit for slower or faster motion segments.
so, as long as I set the fast motion codec fast enough so it can handle that fastest parts of my movie, it should be ok, and try and keep the filesize down
If I use the low motion codec, I have to do the same thing, but the filesize will always be larger.
so why would I ever want to use the low motion codec?
(unless I am not concerned about file size)
