Where would you get one of these BIOSes from?

I'd imagine from someone with a G400 Flex3D. Use the Matrox BIOS back-up util. Back up the G400 Flex3D and then restore that BIOS image on a normal G400.

I totally suggest against flashing your bios because the G400 Flex3D chip is modified in hardware as I understand it.
But if your so keen on trying it, all I have to say is you're on your own.

        Cheers,
        Elie

Well.. on the Matrox site they do not say any such thing. Just that it has Flex 3D.. whatever that means. And that only the RT2000 will work with the G400 Flex 3D card.

Other than that tid-bit.. it seems the same. Not even as fast as a Max. 300MHz RAMDAC, 32MB SGRAM, dual-head, etc. etc.

I have not heard anything specific to the hardware differances. So, I very well may be wrong, or, very well may be correct in that they are the same card.

If the flashing fails.. then.. I'll just reflash it with the back-up util and my G400 BIOS.
