Macrovicion Hack only for English Videotools

Hello everybody,
I tried to install the Macrovision Hack on my German Videotools 1.54-Installation. Patching of RRAPI.DLL went fine. Patching of VIDCAP16.DLL fails because of wrong filesize. Does the Macrovision hack only work for the English version of the Videotools? Any other ideas?

Hi

I experienced the same problem with the Macrovision crack being unable to patch the vcap16.dll (German videotools).

Now I'm downloading the english version of the video tools and I'll post here if this solution will be successfull.

If anybody has another idea how to solve the problem - please post it here!

Does an older/other version of the Macrovision hack exist anywhere for downloading?

I had the same experience with Italian driver, i installed the english version and the patch works.

Where did you get the hack for Video Tools 1.54? Or is there a way to use the 1.52 hack on 1.54?
