Media Studio Pro 6.0 Trouble

Hi everybody.
I have problems when I try to capture video from the new version of MSP.
I got message 'NOT INITIALIZED' ...
... why ?!?!?
When i try to configure the Device Control i got 'UNABLE TO OPEN DEVICE ... NOT READY' !!
Nothing different in my computer from 5.2 version to 6.0

Are you sure you have a video capture card in your computer?

Did you uninstall 5.2 before install 6.0?

1. as mentioned by bongo, do you have a capture card and what type is it?

2. what version of the cards drivers are you using?

3. sometimes Windows gets flaky and lists two entries for the same capture device, one working and one not. Go into the capture programs setups and check this. If it is the case then just select the other option. You may have to do this each time it loads. Don't you just love Windoze?

All worked well with 5.2 version !!

I have a Matrox Marvel G200, drivers are the latest.

I haven't disinstalled the 5.2 because i still try the 6.0.

I am not quite sure, but for first time initializing the MSP6 Video capture, you must suply a stable video signal before starting, then make all settings.
