Finally getting one of these lil' babies to control my Hi8. In the Matrox FAQ there was some question as to whether or not it would work with the RR. The System Requirements in their Acrobat file does not mention any specific video capture cards to use with it. I believe the plug-in for MediaStudio communicates directly with the LANC controller box. The capture commands are simple MediaStudio commands and have nothing to do with whether your capture card is MCI compliant or not.

I've got my ole' RR Studio/Mystique 220 in my P3 550... Beats the dookie out of the all-in-wonder 128.
