You just can´t. The card uses VfW drivers and you will not get it to capture larger files than 2GB. There´s NO workaround. Oh yeah, there´s one: get a new capture card with WDM drivers. Besides, that´s not what this thread is about. This thread is about getting stable hardware accelerated MJPEG capture under Win2K/XP. And that´s already a challenge of it´s own. But Nicram will confirm: you can NOT capture large single files.

          4GB is possible

Even with PC-VCR I can record 4GB of audio/video. With the FAT32 file system is possible and is the limit.....

Hey, now I can use the Mjpeg hardware compression in WinXP but only with G200+RRG. Instead if I try with my G400 dual Head MAX there's nothing to do
I've got the newer G400 BIOS but it doesn't work. Damn.

            Hi,
I'm very glad to see that there's so much activity regarding this issue.
            I have two questions:
Does these patched vidtools put the MJPEG movies to the TV in win2k just as in win98 on G200 based cards? I ask this, because for me official drivers only put the desktop and the movie appears on the TV in full desktop mode with pale colors and black border around it...
Can the G400 based cards output the MJPEGs to the TV via DVD max or something in fullscreen?
In latest win2k drivers they seemed to remove the configuration of the TV settings and they cannot guarantee they'll put that back.

              G400MAX&XP

Well, with G400MAX+RRG+XP I can do all what I want with this driver: TVOUT, DVDMAX, zoom.... only the mjpeg capture doesn't work (as I just said I must exchange the G400 with the G200 for this task ((( ).
It's very cool the live desktop function: great!!!! U see, for exemple, the TV instead the wallpaper, with the icon and the application bar always enebled.
              Cheers.

Patrick is right, Nicram and Felipe would make many new friends all over the world.

I started on NLE with RRStudio, and now have RT 2000.

But RRS is sitting on a shelf, waiting to be ressucitated........
