You know Today I lost the settings for the first time in a while but, they came right back after 2 boots 10 sec waits. I can live with that. Also Axatax I had been having some probs with my 2 maxtors (20 gigs), well only the one with w2k. I decided to put the w2k one one the ide4 by itself and no more bsod. Hey I might be able to put the lid on this thing soon

Hey Ax, do you do any gaming like q3 in w2k. Mine seems very dark?

Yes, I play Quake II, III, UT and Baldur's Gate religiously under Win2K. I play QII/UT on my Voodoo's (runs faster than the G400) and play Q3 on the G400 (faster than the Voodoos). Overall, the picture quality on the G400 with Q3 is supurb. I never really noticed any darkness in the picture.

I know there's commands you can type into the console to adjust the brightness/gamma, etc. but I don't remeber what they were.

The picture quality is very impressive. I have no trouble in w98se. I don't have any trouble in w2k either except that the display is darker even with the brightness up all the way. This is in many games in w2k. Also I lose 10 fps in w2k in q3. I get 42.7 @ 1024 x 768 in 98 and 10 less in wsk. Waiting for the next drivers that also support the rrg.

BTW RRg had a fit last week for some reason. Took 7-8 reboots to get back to normal but only after unplugging 1 auxilary fan from the ps on the last reboot. Considering the dual ps rig on bp6 gamesquad. Couldn't hurt to have a ps run the drives and the fans independently. I will see how it goes for others first.
