Sorry if this is covered already, but I can't search on either E-TV or XP because they aren't 4 letters.
I just got XP and I can't get any sound while capping. It _records_ the sound, but it doesn't actually play out while capping. I triple checked the wiring, and nothing is muted. I can't get sound out of my speakers connected to the sound card or the TV with the wire coming from the E-TV. On playing back the AVIs, the sound works just fine. It's only during capping that I get no sound.
Also odd is that I am _still_ dropping 2 frames per minute. I thought it was the crappy SB card on my old computer, but I guess not. I have a whole new system and the only things that are common in capping from that system to this is the E-TV and AVI_IO. No matter what I do, I lose 2 frames every minute. Any ideas on what could be causing that?
Thanks,
Michelle
