I have spoken with promise about the busnoise problem when I try capturing video with my fasttrak66 on my athlon machine.

he suggested I try a different MB.
Has anyone with an athlon been able to capture video using their fasttrak66 without busnoise? if so, what Motherboard did you use.

I have a MSI 6167.
when I capture video to my promise fasttrak66 raid setup I get busnoise.

have you been able to caputure video with a fasttrak66 without busnoise?

Yes, I am able capture video. I have G200+RRS. I capture 19,1MB/s without droped frames. Busnoise? All workig, but I nothing measure.
But this MS-6167 has the same manufacturer and chipset which have mine MS-6191(K7-Pro)
This is strange.
Maybe you can try new BIOS at("http://www.msi.com.tw/Support/BIOS/mainboard/6191.htm").
