What decompressor to use for makin avis to mpeg1?

What decompressor to use for makin avis to mpeg1?
Ive seen that is possible to change the decompressor in system.ini, cause ive heard that the decompressor matrox is shipped with is far from the best.
so anyone got some tips for what decompressor to use?
my system.ini is like followed
VIDC.dmb1=RRIcm.dll
vidc.MJPG=Pvmjpg20.dll
VIDC.YUY2=RRIcm.dll
VIDC.HFYU=Huffyuv.dll
what todo to get better lookin mpegs? :P
