MediaPlayer 9 here at last

Well it's here at last. A public beta is on Microsoft's site, first thing I noticed is the video controls are well hidden, I always though they were quite usefull when transferring footage to vhs. Also they site warns that once installed roxio cd burning software may fail to copy protected cd's-what ever they turn out to be. I wonder when that one will kick in! There is also some concerns about the way the software sends info about your computer back to microsoft.

Seems stable on my work PC.

Oh: I did look but didn't do a search. I saw the story on the BBC web site.

Actually, I've tried to find other postings on mediaplayer 9 and I can't find any. The search doesn't find them because '9' is less then four letters. I've also looked for the last 15 days: so I guess some people could miss this if it's not in the immeadiate news anyway. Sorry if this bugged anyone though.
