Miro PCTV - 768x576?

I borrowed my mates Miro PCTV card to get passed some copy protection issues with my Matrox Marvel G400. I popped it in, installed the lastest drivers and then tried to capture in AVI_IO at 768x576 with the PicVideo Codac. It then said

"Error intialzing the capture process!".

I tried lowering the resolution and as soon as it gets to 352 x 288 or lower it captures fine. I have tried changing the capture program, the compression codac the source and just about anything else I can think of. But nothing, it simply refuses to capture any higher then 352 x 288 but I can will my Matrox. Is this just a limitation of the Miro card? Or somehthing else?

Any ideas?

Don't worry guys I figured it out. I just changed it to Preview instead of Overlay.

However because my computer is so slow I have to slide down PICVideo's quality bar right down or else I get like A MILLION dropped frames.
