I get from some of the posts, that Media Studio 5 is the best solution for the Marvel G-200. Matrox says they don't have any more.

Anybody out there know where I could locate a copy?

    Thanks - Verne

I don't say there is a 'must', compared with v. 5, but it is VERY considerably more evolved and easier to use, without losing the advantages of the earlier version. V. 5. dates from at least 4 years ago, while 6.51a dates from a month or two ago. C'est aussi simple que ça!

Thanks for the reply. I tried contacting Ulead to see if MSP 6 still supported the Marvel G-200 but didn't get a reply and Matrox told me that Ulead no longer supports the Marvel or Rainbow Runner.

But you guy's say you've got MSP 6 up and running with the G-200?

No problem. You can use MSP 6.51a with Marvel. For capturing, you should consider AVI-IO because it can work seamlessly: the MSP capture works seamlessly only with DV, I think.

The reply you got from Matrox is political because, for some reason (or rather lack of reason), they dropped MSP in favour of the horrendous and now defunct Avid Cinema some 4 years ago.

Thanks a bunch. I've downloaded the demo from Ulead's site to check it out. Can I expect real-time scrubbing, etc.?
