Back In The Saddle Again
On July 24 I sent my old Marvel G200 back to Matrox for replacement. Today I got the new one. Turnaround time: 19 days. I'm not used to service this fast!
At any rate, the new card is installed and I have been running it through the ringer and it is (so far!) been running better than the old one ever did. I have not had a lockup or crash or any other incident even after prolonged video capture exceeding 60 minutes. It makes me wonder if my original G200 had some inherent flaw which caused it to act twitchy until it finally died.
Kudos to Matrox for their prompt handling of this situation. No quibbling and rapid response makes me feel a lot better about my purchase.
