ATI TV Wonder VS RRG with one better ?

I've no experience with the RR-G or TV wonder but I do have a G200 Marvel and an ATI All In Wonder Pro. As to video editing features its no contest -- ATI loses.

TV viewing, I'd say Matrox has better software, but the ATI does seem to have a sharper picture.

If w2k is in your future, Matrox is weak, ATI is pathetic!

If there is an alternative I've not found it yet :-(

OTOH, the Pyro and DV is close to making analog captures obsolete.

For basic TV viewing and making MPEG1 its hard to beat a cheap Hauppauge Win/TV card. They have solid w2k drivers too. What you don't get is the ability to send your edits back to tape.
