Hi
I am having several audio drop-outs (1 to 5 frames max) when I capture DV footage via Fire wire and my Panasonic DS-28.
The problem occurs intermittently and it happens in different spots even when I re-try to re capture the same footage.
Also, the sound plays perfectly well when connected via my Matrox G-400. So the camera is shooting correctly.
I also tried tapes recorded in an other camera. They behave exactly the same. However, I do not get these drop-outs when capturing using a Canon XL1s as a player!
I used Premiere 6.0, DV cap and MS movie factory to capture - no difference noticed.
My question is - is my camera faulty?? has anyone encountered this problem??
Thanks
Orbital
