  • AVI_IO to VirtualDub 50% Frame Loss

I captured with AVI_IO at YUY2 320x240 (er whatever the res is) and reseved NO dropped frames. Now that I am using VirtualDub I receive 50% loss in frames with all the same settings. I don't know whats going on..

Are you using the standard capture mode or AVICap ("compatability mode" with the new 1.4 version)? Use the latter.

Yeah I'm using AVICap not internal. And now I updated to 1.4. I changed all that settings that I saw to the exact same settings as AVI_IO and I still get the 50% frame rate loss.

I should have asked this before but if you're using a Marvel or RR-G what version of the Video Tools are you using?

The YUY2 support in VT 1.54 is broken so you should be using VT 1.52.
