Questions regarding G400 Max and RainbowRunner

I have a G400 Max with a RainbowRunner attached. It works fine but when I use the DualHead Dvdmax option to look at movies on my TV i get very light vertical lines on my TV when playing the movie. I have tried to use the dvdmax options brightness and contrast to get rid of them but it dosn't work. Also some movies that play fine on the monitor won't play at all on the tv (is this a codec problem?).

And if I'm not totaly wrong the RainbowRunner has some kind of mpg encoder/decoder features. How do I take advantage of those or it is done by atomatic.

I can't help with your DVD output problem, although it might be interference pickup by your output cabling.

Your second query isn't quite right. The RR contains a Zoran MJPEG (not MPEG) hardware compressor/decompressor. It is selected for video capture from within your capture software by specifying "Matrox MJPEG" as the capture codec. It is automatically used for output when playing an AVI that has been encoded using this codec.

I don't think it's the cable, I use a super-vhs between the tv and the computer. Isn't there some kind of program for finetuning the output signal?
