  • Premiere/RRG not rendering transistions, can u help Modrid?

Hi, I wondered if your good kind self <grovel> :OP would help me out again.
Ive been tinkering with premiere and after getting over the fact its not Media studio
    its ok.

when experimenting with transistions, i found that if i render them and play with preview to ram unticked
(or something to ram, u will know what i mean its in the video settings)
it plays jerkily outputted to tv but the transistions are there.

If i tick preview to ram <or whatever> then it plays smooth as silk until it hits the transistions then it stays on one frame not displaying anything until it should finish then goes to the next vid.

Any idea how to help? if i render an mjpeg file and play that back then it works great, i know theres something i should have ticked but i cant think what,

can u tell me what im doing wrong?

also whats the best way to record the vid to tape (in analogue s-vhs) to i push enter once its all rendered and then push record on the video or should i tinker with the print to tape?

    thanks again, hope you canhelp

    UPDATE!!!!!!

ok looking on the premiere support forums
its seems the general concsensus is that the marvel g400/rrg wont play transitions from the timeline.. like media studio
you can export the movie and play that back fine. which is right, i can do that

but once the transitions are rendered and you can preview them in the timeline
is there no way to play it all smoothly? or is that just the drawback of premiere

As it is i would have to render my projects in under 2 gig files and then peice them back together which seems an awful waste of time and disc space?
